Most marketing directors know that Hispanic consumers represent a big opportunity since their buying power continues to increase at a record rate. According to researchandmarkets.com, U.S. Hispanic purchasing power surged to almost $870 billion in 2008 and is projected to reach $1.3 trillion by 2015. Over the past decade, the rate of growth was more than twice that of the overall national rate.

However what many marketing directors don't understand is that in order to really reach these consumers you have to do more than run a few ads in Spanish.
