The Know-It-All
Cool flash tricks, sleek designs, master code, state of the art paper planes, Jonathan can make it all happen. We try to not bring it to his attention very often (in the hopes of keeping him modest), but Jonathan effortlessly leads both the creative and technical teams thanks to his extensive knowledge and experience in both of these worlds. Who knew the computer nerd and the unconventional artist could come in one package?
Jon (@zuno) has worked with clients such as IKEA, Los Cabos Tourism and Picturehouse and received numerous awards for his work, both in the creative and the technical fields.
When he’s not working (and this doesn’t happen often) Jon enjoys cleaning up after his untrainable shih-tzus, Dulse and PeeAir. He is a huge fan of Tootsie Rolls, single-handedly keeps Diet Coke in business, likes to travel and enjoys nice cold drinks on the beach. (Ah, to live in a Corona ad....)
Maribel Lackey - Director of Client Services
The Leading Lady
Maribel wears many hats here at Zuno Studios. Her first order of business is making sure that our clients' needs are understood and that each project goes smoothly. She is the leader in putting together social media efforts for our clients and is the interface between them and our creative team. As if that wasn't enough, she keeps all the guys in line, makes sure the dogs are comfortable and ensures that the entire team at Zuno enjoys coming to work each morning.
Having worked with clients such as IKEA, See’s Candies, Aeromexico and the Los Cabos Tourism Board, Maribel takes great pride in learning each client’s business and making sure that the quality of work each client receives is the best it can be.
Maribel is a TV and film addict and an avid event planner who can be found hosting a dinner party or catching I Love Lucy reruns when she’s not at the office or chasing after her two ferocious puppies, Dulse and PeeAir.
Nick Bode - Director of New Business
The Mover and Shaker
While the creative and development teams spend the entire day stuck behind a desk, Nick gets to have fun talking to folks like you, who may need our help selling their product or service. As Director of New Business, Nick gets to know potential clients, finds out what they need and lets them know how we might be able to help.
A veteran in the advertising world and having worked with clients such as BAX Global, the Los Cabos Tourism Board, General Foods and Verizon Wireless, he has experience across all platforms and in a variety of industries. Being an experienced designer himself, he has a special ability to speak to clients about the creative process in a way that most New Business Directors may not have.
After a long day at work Nick likes to imagine he's on the Iditarod while he's being dragged around the block by his two malamutes Benny and Motto. He contributes his free time to non-profit organizations, enjoys a fine glass of cabernet now and then, and is a fan of great films.
